However, due to the extreme weather this summer, Landmark closed the ranges to all activities, preventing the Club from accessing the site to carry out essential preparation work for the event.

As a result, there is now insufficient time to organise the event to the standard the Club had planned for October.

Clerk of the Course David Walmsley said “This situation is very unfortunate given the wonderful weather we have had this year, but our working relationship with Landmark continues to grow and we look forward to 2027”

On a positive note, both Landmark and the MOD have agreed to the use of Catterick Garrison in May 2027, with the exact date to be announced in due course.
